Hot Wheels Track Test with Track Aces 5 Pack

Hey all, my son and I decided to see if the 5 pack track aces that is currently out will perform to our expectations :) . We could use a plain old downhill track where even a hot wheels drag bus could stay on it sooo.. We decided to use the Hot wheels Fireball Set. This hot wheels track set is one of his favorites. Anyway, here is a you tube video on what we did. Enjoy

My favorite Hot Wheels Track

Well I don’t have a picture of this one. I have looked around and only last seen a picture of it on ebay about 3 years ago for 200.00. I believe it is called a Thunder 500 or Thunderway 500 Track. It was a white and blue track set. Instead of the classic motorized slash battery booster, you had two hand levers. The neat thing was you had to time pushing your car around the oval track to keep its velocity. Of course you had a buddy who had his own handle. Pull down on the handle and it slapped the car from the rear to keep going. I will probably have to look it up in one of the guides. Was just thinking about that track again from youth and how much I played with it.

Hot Wheels Cars - What is so special

Why are Hot Wheels Cars the coolest?  I think for me its the quality of models of every day cars and the different unique types of designs. I mean my favorite the Hot Wheels Vw Bus is such a cool yet unique design.

How cool and how famous is this Phil Reihlman casting? So popular that it isn’t a regular issue car.

Another one of my other favorites is the mustang. I especially love the Mustang Mach 1

I have an over abundance of this FE and casting.

Just wanted to share with you guys what my favorite Hot Wheels Cars are.

Hot Wheels Deora History

The deora is an actual car. Dodge deora to be exact. Peterson’s museum in Los Angeles has a fully restored model. The popularity of the 1968s Hot Wheels help bring the hot wheels deora into the lime light. Dodge had a popular small truck called the A-100.

So dodge wanted a customization slash prototype.

The 1968 Hot Wheels Deora casting has surfboards added to it and the rest was history. The deora pictured above is at the Peterson Museum in Los Angeles.

Hot Wheels Deora

When people or collectors think of a Hot Wheels Deora , this is what many are discussing about.

Now, if you are thinking about a Hot Wheels Deora II then is what you are thinking about.

Now how would you like to see an 1:1 Hot Wheels Deora? 1:1 means full size regular size car. Most hot wheels are 1:64 size. So 1:1 would be impressive so check this out!

Hot Wheels Redlines

This is one of my favorite older hot wheels redlines casting. The number on the door and that chrome with stripes just screams awesome. Nice casting will have to find a better picture of one. I like the orange one that came out in the Hotwheels Collector’s club a few years back. Guess I am just a mustang sucker too. (shrug)

Hot Wheels Bike

What is it with Collecting Hot Wheels Bike or Bikes? Seems like you never will find a peg burner or peg warmer. I giggle about peg warmer. I think the title of the ultimate peg warmer goes to “Fathom This”. I remember christmas shopping at a extremely popular Wallymart. The super naked power display only had about 30 fathom this models. 40 pegs on this display and only one model on there? Crazy. Anyway, back to the discussion. I love all Hot Wheels Bikes. I don’t think I only own one model of each casting. Heck I remember one guy in the local hot wheels meeting trying to trade a whole case of FE Fright Bikes. I gave him a hunt ( i forget which one and about .30 a bike for the rest) Worked out to .50 a bike. I was thrilled. Anyway, I was wondering if the few castings or the coolness of a hot wheels bike was my driving factor of purchase. To be honest i think its a little of both.
